Dan started mowing lawns and installing small landscape projects in the mid 1980’s. During High School he installed landscape for companies specializing in water features, retaining walls, patios, and irrigation systems. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1995, he worked for “Design and Build” landscape companies. There he honed his landscape design skills and learned the industry. In 2002 Dan started Black Forest Landscape Design Studio L.L.C., specializing in designs for the “Do-It-Yourself” home owners.
