When she is not out of town on one of her herbal get-aways doing seaweed foot soaks at to Earth Ships and Ojo Caliente or herbal pantry gifts at the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, Herb Gourmet Deb Whittaker spends her time teaching, speaking and writing about culinary herbs for such publications as Colorado Gardener and Edible Front Range. She is a Master Gardener, personal chef, certified laughter yoga instructor and has at various times been a member of the BCG (Boulder Culinary Gardeners Group), Slow Foods, Chef‘s Collaborative and Herb Society of America. Her personal goal is to teach people how fast, easy and healthy it is to grow and cook with culinary herbs.
