Poppies offer myriad compositional possibilities through line, color, shape, movement and texture. Take what you learned in Adobe I and explore your digital creativity. Gather botanical knowledge from a horticultural expert, spend time drawing in the field, scan and “transfer” your sketches to your electronic media, and color to your heart’s content. This class delves further into the realm of design and digital artwork through the use of additional tools and palettes: variable line weights, graduated and blended colors, and fonts.
Prerequisites: Pencil I, Adobe Illustrator I, laptop computer with Adobe Illustrator CS 1, CS 2 or CS 3 software installed, Wacom “Intuos” tablet (minimum 6" by 8") with all software and hardware installed on your laptop.
