Can you attract hummingbirds to your Denver area yard? You bet you can. Learn about the plantings preferred by songbirds and migrating hummingbirds. We will address everything from container gardens to large yards. Tina has had up to six species of hummers visit her yard during migration season. Discuss basic identification of possible birds, as well as who feeds on what plants and what birds need in a habitat. Many of the plants that attract these little jewels are water-smart – what a bonus! The plants and their characteristics will be observed first hand in the second session, a field trip to the instructor’s fabulous garden. Instructor: Tina Jones
