Are you bored with the same old tree species that you and your neighbors currently have? Do you want to learn about alternative, exciting tree varieties that are new or ones that have been around for a while but have not been utilized? Come learn about some underappreciated trees for our challenging climate! We will examine trees that have been overplanted in Colorado and reasons why they are in decline or unattractive. We will also examine tree varieties that can be planted and will succeed in a harsh semi-arid environment. This will be a classroom and field class (weather permitting) and you will come away with some new ideas for tree landscaping choices to recommend for clients, friends, and neighbors or for your personal use.
Walkin registrations will be charged a $10 late fee.
