Don’t miss this fascinating show for all ages presented by Rob Mies, Director of the Organization for Bat Conservation at Michigan’s Cranbrook Institute of Science. In this one-of-a-kind educational program, see some of the rarest bats in the world up-close and personal. Imagine meeting the Malayan flying fox, the largest bat in the world with a 6-foot wingspan! Both of OBC’s Malayans are sweet and beautiful and love to be shown off in public. You will also meet the endangered golden bat and many more beautiful species. OBC’s live bat programs have won many awards and are a truly unique experience. Rob and his bats have even been on TV with Martha Stewart! If you’ve never met a real bat face to face, this will be a night to remember. Program will be held outdoors under a tent; please dress for the weather. To view slides of some of the bats you might see, visit www.batconservation.org .
Walkin registrations will be charged a $10 late fee.
