In addition to presentations by nationally recognized experts, you will also gain practical insights to enhance your enjoyment of water features through offerings of various activity sessions and tours of local interest. Add a splendid silent auction, the silver anniversary celebration of CWGS, the oldest society of its type in the world, and the current “Urban Nature” exhibit at the Gardens, and you have the most spectacular water gardening event in our region in many years!
Perhaps the most spectacular highlight of the event is the spotlight on the Victoria water lily. A local expert who provides seeds to gardens and conservatories throughout the world is a featured speaker as well as an explorer from Florida who has recently discovered in the Amazon basin a dwarf species may soon be available for use in home water features.
