View this noted PBS documentary that looks at urban agriculture as well as the Murals Art Project, “making stakeholders out of residents.” Following the film screening, panelists will discuss the issues surrounding grassroots urban renewal – community contributions that tend to have lasting effects. Community members are invited to join the conversation with urban gardeners, artists and public officials to investigate the issues that are unique to Denver. Featuring Michael Buchenau, Denver Urban Gardens; Patrick DuPays, Z Cuisine Restaurant ; Erin Trapp, Office of Cultural Affairs; Wiser and Keith White, Your Name in Graffiti; and Stella Yu, Arts Street.
