Free Day - "Your Name in Graffiti" at the Gardens

November 22, 11:00 AM—1:00 PM
Denver Botanic Gardens

Free Day at the Gardens on Nov. 22 . . . Denver Arts Week is a week-long celebration of the Denver arts scene, with special events, concerts, art exhibits and more.

As part of this celebration, the Gardens will present artists from “Your Name in Graffiti” on Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Admission to the Gardens is free all day (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), so come on by and get your name written in graffiti by some of the most respected street artists in Denver! The artists will write your name for free or help you do it yourself. There will also be items for sale by these well-known artists.

Enjoy the Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory, stroll the Gardens and catch the “Urban Nature” exhibit before it closes on Nov. 30.

See the artwork of John Bonath in Gates Garden Court. His luscious botanical imagery combines photographs of real and fake flowers with digital manipulation and oil painting—blurring the line between reality and imagination.

During Denver Arts Week, new Family/General Memberships at the Gardens are only $52.80 (regularly $70). This is a wonderful holiday gift for family or friends! Receive a free shopping tote featuring the Gardens’ logo for joining (available while supplies last).
