Discover the wonders of the plant world as you explore plants from around the world, investigate how people use plants and learn the importance of plants to all living things. Each day brings a new theme with lots of fun activities, investigations and projects to take home. Each session has unique activities so kids can double their fun. Session themes and times:
• Plants Big and Small – discover the extremes of the plant world.
• Fungus Fun – Get up-close and personal with these plant relatives.
• Strange and Exotic Plants – find plants that eat, squirt and move, and plant a few to take home.
• Melon Madness – explore the melon family and discover how we use them to make baskets, birdhouses and more!
• Plant Like an Egyptian – investigate plants that the Egyptians used and made famous.
