Farm to Table: Culinary Creations from Summer’s Bounty
Do you grow food in your home garden and run out of ideas for how to use the bounty creatively? Is your CSA box rotting on the porch? Do you like the idea of shopping the farmers’ market and preparing a fresh menu with whatever’s in season that week? Join gourmet cook and herbalist Susan Evans and learn how to easily prepare a fresh, fabulous meal from your garden, farmers market or CSA. We’ll take the freshest seasonal fruits and veggies and create a wonderful meal we’ll all share. Susan will discuss what you can find at the farmer’s market that week, and provide resources on buying local, farmer’s markets and more. Instructor: Susan Evans
Two dates: choose one or both to experience both seasonal menus. Class is hands-on, please bring a paring knife and place setting. Each class: $39 member, $44 non-member, includes $15 for materials. Day of class: $49/$54.

Menu: Lemon mint fizz; baby greens with stuffed blossoms and balsamic vinaigrette;
Nicoise platter with roasted wild salmon, tarragon deviled eggs, haricot verts, tomatoes, new potatoes and olives; Cherries in chocolate sauce over homemade ice cream.
