Join award winning photographer Jim Steinberg at Denver Botanic Gardens for three days of garden photography. On Friday July 31st, 6:30-9 p.m. join Jim for an indoor class on flower and garden photography. On Saturday Aug. 1st, we will meet at 6:30 a.m. for a brief time before heading out to the gardens and taking shots, then gather again for lunch and critique. The afternoon will be spent in the Gardens again, with a short wrap-up at 4 o’clock. On Sunday, return to the Gardens at 6:30 a.m. for more early morning shooting, and finish the program with a final critique from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Jim Steinberg, who’s spent 35 years exploring Colorado and who is known for his easy-going and effective teaching style, will be your expert guide to see and photograph these gorgeous gardens. Jim’s knowledge of the art of photographing flowers ensures that you will be in the right places at the best times, and that he’ll show you how to capture each setting at its best. $250 member, $300 non-member.
